Not your basic batch

Breaking bread

I simply love food. Call me a foodie if you will, I’m most certainly the “live to eat” kind of person and believe that food should be nourishing, enjoyable, and shared with loved ones. I see the kitchen as a creative space where ingredients transform into recipes, and our dining tables become a platform for meaningful connection and conversation. Life can get ahead of us, but sharing a meal with loved ones gives us an opportunity to slow down and connect.

Making your own food is a commitment, but it is most definitely worth it. We live in a world where convenience has become part of a disconnected and stress ridden culture. Let’s get back in the kitchen, using whole food ingredients, let’s cook and bake our own delicious and nutritious foods! Good things take time — and that is what sourdough is about. Simple ingredients, slow fermentation, hand crafted, nourishing, beautiful and delicious.

Making bread the common thread

I’m here to share with you the most basic food that can be found in every culture around the world and is commonly known as BREAD. My obsession and commitment to making my own food is what brought me here, and it was a passion for sourdough - the common thread - that led me to Common Bread.
